William "Bill" Vernon Adkison 90, of Steubenville, OH passed away November 28, 2011. He was born August 30, 1921 in Wetzel County, WV to the late Allen L. and Daisy Mae Norris Adkison. He was a retired coal miner and a member of the Folsom, WV, Methodist Church and also an Army veteran in World War II. In addition to his parents he was preceded by his daughter Barbara Sue Adkison who passed in 1953. He is survived by his wife of 70 years of marriage, whom he married February 24, 1941, a daughter and her husband of Steubenville, Oh, two grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. There will be no visitation. Interment will be private at Greenlawn Cemetery, New Martinsville, WV. Arrangements by Reasner Funeral Home 1515 Charles St. Wellsburg, WV.
