Excerpt--age 89, of Morgantown, died Jan. 9, 1997, in Dilliner, Pa. He was born Sept. 15, 1907, in Rowlesburg, s/o the late Barney and Lillian Lipscomb Ayersman. He was a retired watchman for the city of Morgantown. He is survived by three sons, Raymond Ayersman, Jr. of Brookhaven, Richard Allen Ayersman of Over Cheat, and Joseph Ayersman of Florida; two daughters, Helen Bohon of Morgantown, and Mary Dixon of Maidsville; 24 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ada E. Smith Ayersman, in 1971; a son, Norman Ayersman; three brothers, Eugene Ayersman, Barney Ayersman, Jr. and Charles Ayersman; and two sisters, Mabel Rishell and Juanita Smith. Burial was in the Pleasant Hills Cemetery, Morgantown.
