Agnes A. (Rizzo) Calabrese of Brockton, died Monday, March 18 at the West Acres Nursing Home in Brockton. She was 85. She was the wife of the late Salvatore J. Calabrese. Born in Boston on December 26, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Annabelle and Adelina (Luongo) Rizzo. For many years she was a sewer at the Kingsize Clothing Company in Brockton. She was a devote Catholic and communicant at Saint Michael's Church in Avon. She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, reading and spending time with her family. She loved animals, especially her dog "Max". Mrs. Calabrese is survived by her daughters Graceann Gajdascz and her husband Paul of Taunton, Adele Sartori and her husband Frank of Holbrook, and Stefanie Barone and her husband Richard of East Bridgewater. She was the sister of Angelina Cipriano of Peabody and the loving grandmother of Michelle, Frankie, Anthony, Ashley and Michael. Funeral from the Hurley Funeral Home, 134 S. Main Street (Rt 28), Randolph, MA 02368 on Thursday, March 21 at 11:15AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Saint Michael's Church, 87 N. Main Street (Rt 28), Avon, MA 02322 at 12PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Wednesday 5-8PM . Interment in Saint Michael's Cemetery in Avon.
