Obituary.
Abraham Alloway was born January 7, 1837, in the state of Illinois, died at the home 7 miles west and one mile north of Conway Springs, Kansas, on Friday, November 8, 1899, at the age of 62 years, 9 months and 26 days.
He was married to Cintha A. Ward, in the state of Missouri, in the year of 1858. They came to London township, Sumner county, Kansas, from Iowa in March 1872, where they resided until October 30, 1899, when they came to the home where he died.
He leaves a wife and 9 children, Mrs. F.P. Mercer, John R., Wm. H., Thos. J., Lewis F., James W., Abraham H., Nelson O. Alloway, and Mrs. B. Harris. He was a member of the M.E. church since he was 12 years old and was very strong in his beliefs.
