Obituary
Mary Jane Fitzgerald was born in St. Louis county, Mo., Nov. 26, 1830. Was married to Henry Arnspiger Nov. 4, 1852, in Jersey county, Illinois. Died Aug. 17, 1905, in Sumner county, Kansas. Aged 74 years, 8 months, 21 days.
To this union were born seven children, of whom Malvina Ellen Kincaid and George Wesley Arnspiger preceded her to the spirit world. Her husband and suriving childre, Annie E. Kincaid, Albert M. Arnspiger, Maggie J. Hartley, Chas. E. Arnspiger and Ona L. Hollingsworth were at her bedside at the time of her death. She had fifteen grandchildren of which on preceded her.
She united with the M.E. church at the age of 12 years and was a faithful member in good standing until her death. The funeral was preached by her pastor, Rev. Coburn, at the Cleardale church at 3 p.m., Aug. 18th, after which she was laid to rest in Forest Hill cemetery.
