Actress. The daughter of American born actor Fred Duprez, she began appearing in films around 1936. "The Thief of Bagdad" (1940) made her a star and she was quickly escorted to Hollywood, where she played opposite Cary Grant in "None But the Lonely Heart" and Louis Hayward in "And Then There Were None." Duprez retired from films in 1947. She lived in Rome for a time, then returned to London where she died following an extended illness.
