Murder Victim. One of the Hillside Strangler's victims. She and her friend, Dolly Cepeda, were taking the bus home when Angelo Buono and Kenneth Bianchi saw them. The two men presented false police ID and abducted both of them. The two girl's bodies were found one week later. Sonja was a ninth grader at St. Andrews School in Pasadena, California. She was the only child (adopted) of Tony and Mary Johnson of Eagle Rock.
