He was an American actor, who appeared in 99 films between 1915 and 1940 including "Abraham Lincoln" in 1930 "Tarzan the Fearless" in 1933, "Madame X" in 1937, "Idiot's Delight" and "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn" in 1938, and his last appearance, which was uncredited role of a doorman, "Broadway Melody of 1940." In silent films, he was listed in the credits as Fred Warren or E. A. Warren. He had a long, successful acting career in Hollywood. He never married.
