Actress. A member of the Royal Opera in Rome, Caselotti for many years continued on the stage as a concert singer and was one Hollywood’s earliest voice teachers. She also sang with the Havana Opera Company and the San Carlos Company in Italy. Her daughter, Adriana, competed (and won) against 150 other young women including Deanna Durbin, for the title role in Disney’s “Snow White.” Adriana died in 1997.
