Musician. He was a Cajun accordion player and songwriter. Born the son of one of the bestselling and most popular Cajun musicians in the mid to late 1940s into the early 1950s, Iry LeJeune, he performed in his father's shadow and was known for always keeping his music the traditional style of Cajun. He started out playing at parties and local dance halls on Saturday nights. After playing two 45-minute spirited shows each night, he would be exhausted with his shirt saturated with sweat. LeJeune released his first album in 1988, and released two other records in 1992 and 1998. He married Linda Mary Touchet on August 8, 1970. He suffered an apparent heart attack while working at a construction site.
