Actor. Bill Cody, Jr. was the son of B-Western film star Bill Cody, who is not to be confused with Western figure Buffalo Bill Cody. He entered films in 1934, and made 18 films, appearing as a youthful sidekick with his father in several westerns. He portrayed Nelson Eddy as a child with Jeanette MacDonald in the 1938 film "The Girl of the Golden West." He made his last film in 1942, just before entering the service in World War II. After the war, he never returned to the film industry.
