Talent Agent. A Former vaudevillian and hotelier, Joyce came to Hollywood in 1928 to handle the business affairs of his sister, actress Alice Joyce, and some other artists. This led to the formation of a partnership with Myron Selznick. The Selznick-Joyce Agency became the biggest talent agency in Hollywood, with branch offices in New York, London and Paris. Joyce died at the height of the agency's power and wealth.
