Blues Musician. He learned to play guitar while he and his brothers' played at fish fries and local picnics. Eventually he turned to the mandolin learning to play well enough to gain a name for himself. He made only two records, but they were so steeped in blues tradition that they are considered a must have for many collectors. He then recorded 'Dirty Disposition' for Trumpet, featuring him on mandolin. He also recorded for Adelphi Records, but the songs were never issued.
