Gospel Songwriter, Singer. He is best known for his song "Ten Thousand Angels," which was printed by Lillenas publishing in 1958 and is still found in hymnbooks today. Another of his works was "Hallelujah Square", which was nominated for a Gospel Music Association Dove Award for three consecutive years. Ray and his wife Mildred Morford conducted musical/evangelistic services in churches across the country for 48 years.
