Religious Figure, Baptist minister. After his conversion in 1916, Fuller began to teach the adult Sunday school class at Placentia Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles, and later entered the Bible Institute of Los Angeles (now Biola University), eventually becoming chairman of the board. He was the host of "The Old Fashioned Revival Hour" from 1925 through 1958, a program heard by an estimated 20,000,000 listeners each Sunday and broadcast on over 500 radio stations. He co-founded Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, believed to be the largest multi-denominational seminary in the world, to train evangelical Christian pastors, missionaries, and evangelists.
