Architect. Designed the notable Aztec Hotel in Monrovia, in the San Gabriel Valley east of Los Angeles near the historic Route 66 in 1926. The restored hotel is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. He was influenced by Aztec, Mayan and Southwest Pueblo Indian styles and was a fervent advocator of Pre-Columbian architecture. He also designed the Ventura County Church of Religious Science in the City of Ventura, the North Hollywood Masonic Temple in the San Fernando Valley and the Atwater Bungalows in the Elysian Park district near Downtown L.A.
