Television Writer, Producer and Director. He produced the documentary Kennedy, The First Thousand Days (1964). He wrote, directed and produced 65 episodes of Biography, which was hosted by Mike Wallace. Executive produced the first season of The World of Jacques Cousteau. Producer of National Geographic Specials, Alaska Wilderness Lake (1971), and In Search Of ... (1971) that was hosted by Leonard Nimoy. Executive producer of many made-for-television movies, of note are Bill (1981), Adam (1983), The Ryan White Story (1990) and A Mother's Right: The Elizabeth Morgan Story (1992). In 1970, he founded his own production company, Alan Landsburg Productions, which was later merged into the Reeves Entertainment Group. He formed The Landsburg Company in 1985.
