Professional Wrestler. He became the World Junior Heavyweight in 1950 by beating Count Billy Varga. Shortly thereafter, he served in the U.S. Air Force for four years during the Korean War. Following his discharge, he returned to the sport and was wildly popular with fans even though he never regained his title. His career abruptly ended in 1960 when he suffered a broken shoulder during a bout. He then segued into a career as a wrestling referee and booking agent.
