Boxer, Olympic Medalist. Representing the United States at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, he won the bronze medal in the Middleweight Division. Nicknamed "The Great One," he attracted the interest of Evander Holyfield, who paid for his traveling and training expenses as he prepared for the Olympic Games. Turning pro in 1997, he amassed a career record of 18 wins, 2 losses and 10 knockouts. He was shot and killed in his hometown of Las Vegas.
