Calvary's most remarkable monument is that of Joseph "Josie" Lyon, who died in 1891 at the age of nine. The boy stares out through the glass door of this domed granite booth, leaning on a stump, a prayer book in his hand.

Joseph's father was George Washburn Lyon, co-founder of Lyon & Healy, a manufacturer of musical harps and organs.
