Mr. Carr was the son of Charles H. Carr and Arabella Roope.
He was survived by his widow, Lauretta Marie Coveney Carr (m 1905) and his daughter, Mrs. Nicholas (Audrey Geraldine) Harms, both of Brazil. He was also survived by his brother, Ferdinand G. Carr of Natick, Massachusetts.
