A lifelong resident of West Warwick, she was a daughter of the late Henri and Louise (DeTonnancourt) Bettez.
Gloria was employed for the State School Lunch program in the West WarwickSchool System for over 20 years before retiring. She loved playing the accordion.
She was the mother of Phyllis A. (Joseph) Cornicelli, Elizabeth A. (Kevin) Costa and John J. Bruno III; grandmother of 5; great-grandmother of 4; sister of the late Edward, Norman, Eugene, Raoul, Albert Bettez, Anita Rego, Jean Champagne and Theresa Mariorenzi.
Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10:30 am in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St.,, Coventry. Interment in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Foundation for the Blind (www.afb.org) will be appreciated.
