Mrs. Patterson entered the Home in the summer of 1940.

Mrs. Harriet Patterson: June 11, 1870 - January 14, 1942. We have lost another valued member of our family, Mrs. Harriet Patterson, who came into the Home on July 24, 1942. Mrs. Patterson's beauty and fine carriage, together with her gracious manner, made her a noticeable figure in the Home. Mrs Patterson had, in her earlier years, enjoyed many opportunities and had travelled extensively, both here and abroad. She bore her later financial losses with dignity and sweetness. We are glad that during her last years she found in our Home a rest and security and care which she deeply appreciated. She leaves a sister, Mrs. Nellie Homer, who is also a member of our Family, and to her Our Record extends its sincere sympathy.
