NEW ALBANY – Margaret Norma Baggett Pannell, 90, died Wednesday September 17, 2014, at New Albany Health and Rehab. She was born February 22, 1924, in Oxford to the late John Thomas and Mary Etta Jarrett Baggett. She was a homemaker and a member of Keownville Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, September 21, 2014, at Keownville Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Bishop officiating. Burial will be at Keownville Cemetery. United Funeral Service of New Albany is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by three sons, Robert Pannell of Booneville, Randy Pannell and Steve Pannell, both of New Albany; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy E. Pannell; her daughter, Barbara Forshea; six brothers; five sisters; one great-granddaughter; and one great-great-grandson.
Visitation will be Saturday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and on Sunday from 1 p.m. till service time at the church.
