Charles Edgar Adkins, age 80 of Speedwell, passed away Sept. 10, 2014. He was born Feb. 16, 1934, in Clairfield, Tennessee, to Albert and Pansy Adkins. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Jerlene Hammitte Adkins.
He is survived by daughter Sharon Adkins; sons, Terry (& Denise) Adkins and Ronald (& Loretta) Adkins; granddaughters Roxanne & Olivia Adkins; grandsons Chaz Adkins & Sammy Herrell; one sister and three brothers. May he rest in peace.
Memorial service was 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, at Reece Valley Chapel with Rev. Donnie Powers officiating. Music by Kris Wilburn. The family received friends from 5-7.
