Lois Marie Becker, age 90, of Huntington Beach, California, passed away September 28, 2014, in McKinney, Texas. Lois was born July 16, 1924, in Plankinton, South Dakota, to Edward and Stella (Heintz) Tastad. She married Melvin Raymond Becker, Sr. on December 15, 1941. Lois retired from Wells Fargo Bank in 1988.
She is survived by her, son, Melvin Becker and wife, Janine of Wylie, Texas; daughters, Patricia Koch of McKinney, Texas and Linda Mazepa of Huntington Beach, California; five grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and sisters-in-law, Thelma Tastad of Mitchell, South Dakota and Agnes Tastad of Rapid City, South Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994, and four brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 6, 2014, at Gateway Community Church in Wylie, Texas.
