DOWNS - John F Junk, 71, Downs, died Saturday, May 18, 2002. Mr. Junk was born Sept. 1, 1930, at Downs. He was a retired aircraft mechanic.
Survivors include a son, Mike of San Diego; two daughters, Margo Junk and Jeanie Junk, both of San Diego; four brothers, Raymond of Hutchinson, Fred of Osborne, Marvin of Downs and Ron of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and three sisters, Madeline. Patton of Columbus, Ohio, Caroline Sumpter of Superior, Neb., and Rosemary Dreiling of Victoria.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Downs. Burial will be in Downs Cemetery .
Memorials may be made to the church.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at Domoney Funeral Home, 817 Morgan, Downs 67437.
