Mrs. Kayrin M. Hawkins, 44, of 215 Trailwood Drive died Thursday at a local hospital. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Columbus Avenue Baptist Church, the Rev. Ron Durham officiating. Burial will be at Waco Memorial Park.
Mrs. Hawkins was born March 20, 1942, in Tulsa, Okla. She attended Sapulpa, Okla. schools and graduated from high school there in 1960. She received a BA in business education from Central State University in Edmond, Okla.
She was married to Jim R. Hawkins Aug. 15, 1964, in Sapulpa. She lived in Norman, Okla., and Chattanooga, Tenn., before moving to Waco seven years ago. She was a teacher, secretary and office manager. She was active in school, civic and church affairs and was a member of Columbus Avenue Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Margaret Underwood of Sapulpa, Okla; a daughter, Amber Marie Hawkins of Waco; a son, Derek Hawkins of Waco; and a sister, Dorothy Agee of Grove, Okla.
