Betty Jane Kline Shay, 90, of SpiriTrust Lutheran at Utz Terrace, Hanover and formerly of Paxtang, died Friday, April 24, 2015, in Utz Terrace.
She was a retired Clerk Typist for the PA Department of Health, was a member of the former Trinity Lutheran Church, Harrisburg, and the 29th Street Church Golden Agers.
Betty Jane was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Richard B. Shay, who died in February of this year; a brother, John Kline; and two sisters, Helen Freet and Sarah Plank.
She is survived by two daughters, MaryJane Edgreen and husband, Gary of Olean, NY and Beverly Jean Frace and husband, Lance of Hanover; one brother, Harry M. Kline of Dillsburg; and two granddogs, "Checkers" and "Mocha".
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Private burial in Paxtang Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Fackler-Wiedeman Funeral Home, Harrisburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The SpiriTrust Lutheran Benevolent Fund of Utz Terrace, 2100 Utz Terrace, Hanover, PA 17331.
