Raymond A. Kirschman, 89, formerly of Lincoln Park, passed away April 30, 2016 in the Reading Hospital.

Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Harry E. and Esther M. (White) Kirschman.

He was the beloved husband of June E. (Maurer) Kirschman, who died January 2, 2007.

He was a 1944 graduate of Reading High School.

Raymond was a veteran of the United States Navy and served in World War II.

He was employed by Bethlehem Steel Company as an electrician.

Raymond was a member of Lincoln Park United Methodist Church.

He was a lifetime member of Sinking Spring VFW.

Raymond is survived by his children: Robin A. wife of Ronald Fritz, Lake Wynonah; Greg A., husband of Jackie Kirschman, Sinking Spring; and Brad L., husband of Geene Kirschman, Berkeley, CA. Five grandchildren: Stacie, Stephanie, Nicholas, Amanda, and Margarita and two great-grandchildren, Logan and Leah also survive him.

Graveside service will be held Friday, May 6, 2016 at 1 p.m. in Charles Evans Cemetery, 1119 Centre Avenue, Reading, PA 19601. Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading is in charge of arrangements
