Veryl Cash Campbell, 80, of Amherst, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at the Brian Center in Fincastle. Born August 1, 1935, in Amherst County, she was the daughter of the late George Fenton and Opal Collier Cash Baldwin,and was also preceded in death by a son, Rudell "Rudy" Campbell, Jr.; and three brothers, Alvin Cash, Jackson Cash, and Richard Cash.She was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse and was a member of Clifford Baptist Church. Mrs. Campbell is survived by two daughters, Linda C. Greer of Midlothian, and Jill C. Body of Roanoke; one sister, Joyce C. Lang and husband, C.P. of Madison Heights; two grandchildren, Shawn Body, and Lyndsay Campbell, and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Friday, May 6, 2016, at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Dr. Michael Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will follow at Amherst Cemetery.
