Thomas “Robby” Robason, age 80, passed away on December 23, 2013. He was born to Thomas Robason, Sr. and Mamie Works Robason on April 29, 1933 in May, Texas and went on to become a fire fighter and eventually Battalion Chief for the Irving Fire Department in 1983. Robby was also a member of the Irving Elks Lodge and loved animals. He is preceded in death by his parents and will be greatly missed by his beloved wife Kim Robason of Decatur; daughter Karen Gilbert of Fort Worth; sons Terry Robason of Granbury and John Robason of Poolville; daughter Teresa Trehan of Durant, OK along with eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 10:00 AM in Brown’s Memorial Chapel with Chaplin Jimmy Duncan officiating.
