East Lyme - Thomas Patrick Broughton, 62, of Niantic, passed away May 20, 2016, at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
Tom was born in New London, on Oct. 4, 1953, the son of John Patrick and Jean (Gordijn) Broughton.
For the pass the 35 years he was employed as a RadCon instructor at Electric Boat.
He is survived by his wife, Paula (Pfander) Broughton.
The family will receive relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, May 27, at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons East Lyme Funeral Home, 48 Grand St., Niantic. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 28, at East Lyme Cemetery.
