Barbara K. Fitch, 75, of Savoy died at 8:25 a.m. Monday (May 23, 2016) at home.

Barbara was born Nov. 24, 1940 in Buchanan, Michigan, the daughter of Harold Willard and Helen Rutan Taylor. She married Raymond Fitch on May 6, 1967 in Urbana. He preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 2014.

Survivors include her children, Beverly (Dennis) Smith, Bryan McCoy, Traci (Mark) Logue, Rhonda (Scott) Lutz and Bradly (Candy) Fitch; two sisters, Jean Taylor and Janet (Ron) Hall; one brother, Robert (Debbie) Taylor; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marty Glenn; brother, Ronald Taylor and grandson, Michael Logue Jr.

Barbara was a member of Savoy United Methodist Church. She retired from the post office in Savoy after 25 years as a rural carrier. She also worked 10 years at Old Orchard Lanes. She was a member of Champaign-Urbana Elks Lodge. She was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed Illini basketball. Her hobbies included cross stitch, jigsaw puzzles, gardening, bowling and miniature golf.
