Mr. Brian D. Hund, 50, of Newnan, passed away, Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Piedmont Newnan Hospital.

Brian was born October 8, 1965, in Taipei, Taiwan, but lived most of his life in Meriwether and Coweta Counties. He was a graduate of the culinary division of the Art Institute of Atlanta and had been employed as a chef. He was Baptist by faith.

Survivors include his mother, Johnsie Dunlap and friend, Jeremy “Bubba” Messer of Newnan; brothers, Mark Hund of Spokane, WA, Patrick Hund of Snohomish, WA, and Michael Hund of Los Angeles, CA; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale F. Hund; his grandparents, Maurice and Inez Dunlap; and his best friend, Ronnie Couch.

The funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 29, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home in Hogansville. Pastor Dan Rockel will officiate and interment will be in the Luthersville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 until 2:00 Wednesday afternoon.
