Ronald G. Ballard, 83, of Huntington, IN, died Sunday, July 24, 2016, at 3:17 p.m. at The Hearth at Sycamore Village.
Mr. Ballard graduated from Huntington Township High School in 1951 and served as a corporal in the United States Army during the Korean War. He retired from Lutheran Hospital Security in Fort Wayne after 15 years of service.
He was born Jan. 9, 1933, in Huntington to Charles W. and Virgie Finley Ballard. He married Barbara A. Getz on Oct. 21, 1994, in Huntington, and she survives.
Additional survivors include two sisters, Barbara (Robert) McNally and Beverly (Charles) Flaugh, both of Huntington.
There will be no calling or service. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery at a later date.
