Sue Ann Johnson Hightower, age 75 of Lebanon, passed away Thursday September 29, 2016. Funeral Service will be Saturday October 1st at 11:00 a.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home, with Bro. Jerry Peace officiating. Entombment will follow at Sumner Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be Friday September 30th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. and Saturday October 1st from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Mrs. Hightower was born February 20, 1941 in Jackson County, TN, to the late James Carmon Johnson and Ledy Margaret Medlin Johnson. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, William H. “Bill” Hightower; brothers, Danny Johnson, David Johnson, and Ted Johnson; and sister, Polly Taylor. She is survived by daughter, Sheila Jones of Lebanon; brother, Dillard Johnson (Linda) of Cookeville; sister, Nell Farmer of LaVergne; and grandchildren, Shelly Jones (Soundavanh Sinpraseuth), Tilden Johnson, and Sagan Sinpraseuth.
