Lucille M. Snyder, 92, of Wheat Ridge, passed away September 9, 2016.

She was born November 25, 1923 in New York City, New York, the daughter of Michael and Augusta (Spies) McCann.

She was a graduate of Washington Heights High School in New York City. Following her graduation, Lucille honorably served in the US Navy during World War II. After she was honorably discharged, Lucille attended Western State College where she graduated with a Bachelors degree.

On December 27, 1949 she married Robert Snyder at St. James Church in Denver.

She was a member of the Denver Zoo and Denver Museum of Nature and Science.

Lucille was very interested in Native American Art and sculptures.

Lucille is survived by her loving husband, Robert Snyder and friend, Diane Himyak.

She is preceded in death by Father, Michael McCann, Mother, Augusta McCann, Brother, Thomas McCann.
