Funeral services for Mrs. Beulah Ethel Pearson 85, a resident of Okmulgee since 1905, who died Friday evening in a local nursing home will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday in the First Assembly of God Church. The Rev. Howard Jones will be the officiant and interment will be in the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the Buchanan Funeral Home. Mrs. Pearson was born February 5, 1889 in Marshfield, Missouri and moved Okmulgee in 1905. In 1906 she was married to Ben C. Pearson in Okmulgee where they continued to reside. Mrs. Pearson was preceded in death by her husband in 1968. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include a son Bluit Pearson, 724 North Okmulgee St., a daughter, Mrs. J.K. Mayes, 513 South Alabama., a brother, Arthur W. McCormack, St. Francesville, Louisiana., a niece Mrs. Maxine Stowels, 611 Clearcrest, Six Grandchildren and Eight Great-grandchildren. Pallbearers for Mrs. Pearsons services will be Marvin Mason Sr., Howard Brown, Arthur Kelough, Lynn Bates, Earl Van Dolsen, and Don Scroggins.
