Leroy Mazel Smith, 89, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away on December 1, 2016.
He was born on July 14, 1927.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, D.W. Smith and Nella Mae Lyles-Smith.
He is survived by his wife, Everlena Foots-Smith of Pine Bluff; eight sons: Hasan Quil of Little Rock, Harrison Robinson of Compton, CA, David Robinson of Atlanta, GA, Roger Willie of Las Vegas, NV, Ivan Fairbanks of Opelika, AL, Christopher Jones of Indianapolis, IN, Willie Wright Jr. of Austin, TX, and Joey Wright of Australia; four daughters: Ada Steppes of Henderson, NV, Loretta Stovall of Indianapolis, IN, Doretha Johnson of Indianapolis, IN, and Johnnie Brewer of Indianapolis, IN; twenty-two grandchildren; and thirty-three great-grandchildren.
The funeral services will be held in New Morning Star Baptist Church with Rev. Donald Agee officiating. The internment services will be held at Arkansas State Veteran in North Little Rock, AR.
