A memorial service for Hazel E. Armentrout of Bellingham will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Garden Street United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Washington Memorial Park in Seattle.
Miss Armentrout died Thursday, March 30, 2000, in Bellingham. She was 93.
Born May 24, 1906, to Charles E. and Eunice A. (Anabee) Armentrout in Seattle, she lived in Whatcom County for 60 years.
Miss Armentrout taught for many years in Bellingham School District. She was a member of Garden Street United Methodist Church and Whatcom County Retired Teachers' Association. She also volunteered at Bellingham/ Whatcom County Convention & Visitors Bureau and at Y's Buys.
She loved bird watching and traveling.
Survivors include nephew George Armentrout of Olalla and niece Vicki Turner of Orting.
