MUNCIE--Mark A. Grile, 67, passed away very peacefully on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2017.
Mark was a 1967 Muncie Central High School graduate. He received his Master's Degree in Geology from Purdue University, after graduating from Ball State University. Mark was a United States Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his mother, Martha P. Grile-Dragoo; brothers, Kurt (Patricia) Grile and Gary Grile; sister-in-law, Melissa Alexander; three nieces; one nephew; and best friends for over 40 years, Scott Stibbins and Mark Epperson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Maurice "Shorty" Grile.
A Memorial is being planned for a later date.
