Marilyn Louise Smith age 57, of Willis Lane, Springfield, died at 7:45 a.m. Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at her residence.
Born Aug. 1, 1956 in Lebanon, she was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Sylvester and Mary Elizabeth Hamilton Smith and a sister, Barbara Elaine Smith, Oct. 11, 2007.
She is survived by a brother, Ronald Eugene Smith of Frankfort, two sisters, Mildred Hamilton and Jeanette Edelen both of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral mass was conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Rev. Ben Brown and Deacon Gus Cooper officiating. Burial was in St. Dominic-Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Damian Edelen, Paul Mattingly, Richie and Greg Hamilton, Chris Tucker and Reggie Weathers.
Honorary pallbearers were members of Washington County Industries.
Hale-Polin-Robinson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
