Ticonderoga — Marie (Donahue) LaFountain, 89, formerly of St. Clair Street in Ticonderoga, passed away Sunday, March 4, 2001, at the Moses-Ludington Nursing Home of Ticonderoga.

Born in Ticonderoga, Nov. 13, 1911, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Downey) Donahue.

Mrs. LaFountain was a lifetime resident of Ticonderoga.

She was a communicant of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Ticonderoga.

She was employed by the State Theater of Ticonderoga in the box office for many years.

Her husband, Philip L. LaFountain died before her.

She was also predeceased by two brothers, Michael T. Donahue and James E. Donahue, and two sisters, Florence LaFountain and Helen Thompkins.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, four sisters, and by several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements by the Wilcox & Regan Funeral Home, Ticonderoga.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church of Ticonderoga.

The Rite of Committal will take place at the family plot of St. Patrick's Cemetery of Port Henry in the spring.
