Patsy A. Hartsalla, 82, Indianapolis, died in the comfort of her home on august 30, 2015. she was born on January 7, 1933 in Stewardson, IL to the late George and Opal (Naumgarten) Rose. Patsy was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who was made truly happy by the presence of her family. she was also known as a very giving person who was dedicated to her Christian faith.

She married her loving husband, John A. Hartsalla Sr., on October 14, 1951 in Tower Hill, IL and he preceded her in death on March 24, 1991. she was also preceded in death by her parents, George and Opal Rose; sons, John A/ Hartsalla Jr., and Charles D. Hartsalla; brothers, Walter Rose and Charles Rose; sisters, Louise Rose, Edna Hubner, Hazel Gardner, Delilah VanNort, and Mary Logsdon; and one grandchild, John Walker.

Survivors include her son, Mark A. Hartsalla; daughters, Mary V. Fahy, Anna M. Hartsalla, Rhonda M. Hartsalla, and Rita S. Pennybaker; grandchildren, Jimmy Walker Jr., Angel Curry, Rick Roberson, Jared Hartsalla, Devon Hartsalla, Seth Hartsalla, and sydney Pennybaker; and 8 great grandchildren.

A service will be held Thursday, September 3, 2015 in Lauck & Veldhof Funeral & Cremation services with visitation there from 1 pm until the time of service. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Penny's memory to the Wheeler Mission.
