"Roger Erwin Barr, 84, longtime resident of the SeaTac area, passed away October 4, 2011 at his home in Tukwila.
He was born June 22, 1927, in Kelso, Washington to Robert E. Barr and Margaret N. Brown Barr, the second of three children.
He graduated from Kelso High School in 1945, and after a short time in the Navy, attended Lower Columbia Junior College before graduating from the University of Washington in 1951 with a degree in English, and a degree in Education from Western Washington University in 1954...
Roger is survived by his former wife...and two children...and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister Shirleen Johnson, and brother Theodore Barr. Per Roger's wishes, no services will be held."
