Hazleton Standard Speaker; Wednesday, March 14, 1962:
John Voytek Sr., who resided with his daughter and son-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Fogash, 6887 Woodland avenue, Pennsauken, Camden, N.J., died Tuesday at 8:10 a.m. at the Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Camden, where he had been a patient for five days. He was born in Czechoslovakia and had resided in Pardeesville most of his life, moving to Pennsauken 17 years ago. He was a former secretary of Branch 76 First Catholic Slovak Union and received a Diamond pin for 50 years membership. He was a former member and trustee of the Holy Trinity Slovak R.C. Church this city and was a member of the Holy Name Society. He was a member of St. Stephen R.C. Church, Pennsauken.

His wife, the former Susan Mikula Voytek, died in 1941. Surviving are the following 4 children: Mrs. Gregory (Anna) Fogash, Pennsauken, Camden, N.J.; John, Somerville, N.J.; Joseph, Buffalo, N.Y.; Thomas, Pennsauken, Camden, N.J. Also surviving are a brother, Andrew, Pardeesville and four grandchildren.

The funeral will be held from the Bonin Funeral Home, Second street entrance, Friday at 8:30 a.m. Requiem high mass will be celebrated at 9 o'clock in the Holy Trinity Slovak R.C. Church. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Friends may call this evening 7 to 10 p.m. and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 10 p.m.
