ALBANY - Esther Mae Ross, age 90, of 602 E. Main St., Albany, formerly of Brooklyn Township, died Thursday, May 1, 1997 at the Flesher Home for the Elderly in Albany. She was born in Sylvester Township on March 18, 1907 to Frank and Elizabeth (Ladwig) Schwartzlow. On June 4, 1940, Esther married Roycie Ross in Monroe, and farmed with her husband for over 45 years in Brooklyn Township. She is survived by beloved nieces and nephews, and dear friends. Esther was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Roycie; two sisters, Dora Ostrander and Helen Schwartzlow; and a brother Elmer. She was a member of Peace United Methodist Church, Brooklyn Township. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 5, 1997 at the BI-FULK FUNERAL HOME in Albany with the Rev. Cal Schauer officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
