HENDERSON Priscilla Hollifield Greene, 74, a resident of 2114 Woodland Road, died Monday, Aug. 22, 2016, at Wake Medical Center.

Born May 10, 1942, in Marion, she was the daughter, of the late Virgil and Mildred Withrow Hollifield.

Priscilla graduated from Pleasant Gardens High School in 1960 and was named Miss McDowell County that same year. She worked at First Union National Bank in Marion, and Raleigh, before moving to Henderson. Her greatest accomplishment was being a mother. Priscilla was an excellent homemaker and loved spending time with and spoiling her family. She enjoyed people, was a good friend, loved to dance, and her favorite place was the beach. She played bridge with the Tuesday Bridge Club for over 30 years and was a member of Garden Creek Baptist Church in Marion, and First Baptist Church in Henderson.

A visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 26, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at J. M. White Funeral Home.

She is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Greene Jordan (Kevin) of Wilmington; loving companion, Albert Graham Atkins of Henderson; Graham's daughter, Janie A. Bowen (Richard) of Mebane; and three grandchildren, Nathan Jordan, Ashley Metcalf Greer and Jack Metcalf.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded by her husband, Ralph Arnold Greene.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Chronic Leukemia Foundation (CLL Foundation) Hayden Burns, Director, 1721 North Blvd., Houston, Texas 77098.
