Vernon Charles Sales, of Houston, Texas, passed away from this earthly life on August 23, 2016 at the age of 87. He was born on November 10, 1928 in Omaha, Nebraska.
As a young man he moved to Houston because of a young lady named Lucille Kuritza. They married, raised a family and enjoyed a life together for 67 years. Vernon was very dedicated to his family, enjoying doing various activities with his kids. Another one of his interests was gardening. He was the owner of V.C. Sales Window Cleaning Co. for most of his working years.
Vernon was preceded in death by his parents, Florence and Charles Sales and also by his daughter Suzanne Sales.
He is survived by his wife Lucille Sales, sons David Sales and Danny Sales and wife Debbie, grand children Travis Sales and wife Jill, Tami Sales, Traci Thompson and great grandchildren Tyson & Jocelyn Thompson and Chloe & Sophie Sales.
Services will be at Forest Park East, 21620 Gulf Freeway in Webster, Texas on Friday, August 26th.Visitation is from 11:30am-12:30. The memorial service is 12:30- 1:30pm.
